The order impugned has been passed in exercise of power under Section 247 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 against which the petitioner has remedy of filing Revision under Section 257 of the Code.

Therefore, keeping all questions raised in this writ petition open to be agitated before the State Government in a Revision, the writ petition stands disposed of.

In case the petitioner files Revision within one week from

15-wp2238-2024.doc today, the Minister shall consider the application for grant of adinterim relief within one week thereafter. In case it is not possible for the Minister to consider the request for ad-interim relief, the matter shall be assigned to the Secretary (Revenue) who shall within one week consider the application for grant of ad-interim relief.

The writ petition stands disposed of in above terms. No costs.
