Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned AGP for the respondent Nos.1 to 5. Application under section 48 (1) of the Land Acquisition Act,1894 made by the petitioners is pending before the respondent No.4.

It is for the petitioners to apply before the respondent No.4 for seeking appropriate relief.

To enable the petitioners to do so, we direct that for a period of three weeks from today, status quo as of today shall be maintained in respect

wp1847 of the acquired land. The Application for interim relief made by the petitioners shall be decided by the respondent No.4 within a period of two weeks from the date on which an authenticated copy of this order is produced by the petitioner.

Writ petition is disposed of.
