Mrs. Mhatre, learned APP appearing for the respondent/State has tendered across the bar a letter written by the in-charge Superintendent of Yerawada Central Prison, Pune addressed to the office of public prosecutor, High Court of Bombay wherein it is stated that the petitioner has completed sentence and he has been released from jail. The said letter is taken on record and marked 'X' for identification purpose.

In view of the fact that the petitioner had already been released from jail, nothing further survives for consideration in the present writ petition. The present writ petition stands disposed of. 3.
