This Writ Petition is filed by the petitioner/husband praying to set aside the order dated 29th December, 2014 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Thane in respect of interim maintenance.

The petitioner/accused is prosecuted under sections 12, 17, 18, 19 and 20 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005. Today, the petitioner/husband and respondent/wife are present before the Court and they have settled the matter amicably. The terms and conditions of the settlement are reproduced in the consent terms filed by the parties. The learned counsel for the parties have identified and signed for the parties.
1.WP634_2015.doc The consent terms are taken on record and marked as Exhibit "A" for identification. The consent terms are accepted. In view of this, the consent terms and especially in paragraph (i) of the consent terms, this Writ Petition is disposed of.

The learned counsel for the respondent/wife submitted that the amount of Rs.71,000/- as mentioned in the consent terms, is deposited in this Court by the petitioner/husband and the respondent/wife be allowed to withdraw the said amount. The learned counsel further submitted that the maiden name of the respondent is Shilpa Ramchandra Thakur and she operates her bank account in State Bank of India in her maiden name. 4.
Registry is directed to transfer the amount of maintenance in her bank account which is in her maiden name. 5.
