The applicant is already admitted to the interim protection by order dated 28/02/2020, with an observation that the role attributed to the applicant is at the most, giving shelter to the co-accused.

The offence in which the applicant is arraigned as an accused invokes Sections 120-B, 115, 212 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 3, 4/25 of the Arms Act and Section 135 of the Maharashtra Police Act.

Learned APP states that the applicant has attended the police station, as directed. Since his role, as indicated in the order dated 28/02/2020, is not extended beyond the one M.M.Salgaonkar

2/2 4 ABA-447-20.doc which is observed by this Court in the order order 28/02/2020, I am inclined to confrm the said interim protection, subject to the stipulation that the applicant shall attend the police station as and when called for. 3.

The anticipatory bail application is disposed, being allowed.
