By this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent to forthwith take cognizance of the petitioner's complaint sent vide letter dated 3rd February 2021, in accordance with law. 2.

Learned APP on instructions states that an FIR has been registered by the police on 11th June 2022 on the basis of the petitioner's complaint with the Juhu Police Station, Mumbai, vide N. S. Chitnis 1/2

904-wp.3052.2021.doc C.R. No.730 of 2022, for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 420, 406, 465, 467, 468, 471 of the Indian Penal Code. She states that the investigation is in progress. 3.

Learned APP has tendered a report dated 11th July 2023 alongwith the photocopy of the first page of the FIR. The same is taken on record. She states that the investigation will be taken to its logical end, as soon as the investigation is over. Statement accepted. 4.

In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives for further consideration in this petition. The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
