P.C. :
Rule, returnable forthwith. Heard finally by consent of parties.
We are inclined to dispose of the present writ petition as petitioners' application for seeking equivalency/recognition to the 10th and 10+2 level examinations conducted by the petitionercouncil and to the relevant certificates of higher studies dated 22.2.2014 (Ex.5) is still pending.
Considering the issues so raised and even otherwise it is necessary for the respondents to decide this application as early as
KJ 2/2 wp2627.15-33 possible as it concerns with the students of other State who are desired and/or intend to seek admission in State of Maharashtra. The petitioners' examination and the certificates are not accepted for admission in the higher studies of (respondent no.2) Maharashtra State Board of education. By communication dated 21.10.2014 the respondents communicated to the petitioners to place on record more attested documents as required. Senior counsel for the petitioners makes a statement that they have already provided all the documents. However, whatever requirements are left, they will complete it within one week from today.
In view of the above, the respondents are directed to decide the application filed by the petitioners as early as possible preferably within four weeks. All points kept open. Petition is accordingly disposed of with liberty. Rule made absolute accordingly. No costs.
