Learned AGP hands in a Communication received from Deputy Collector, Land Acquisition, Minor Irrigation, Nashik, dated 26th July, 2023.
It is submitted that all the aforesaid 14 appeals preferred by the State against the judgments and Awards passed by the Reference Court are duly covered under the Government Resolution (G.R.) dated 3rd November, 2016 bearing No. sankirna - 2014/Pra. Kra. 41/Part-1/A-4.
It is submitted that in view of clause (1) of the said G.R., the amount of compensation awarded by the Reference Court under Section 18 of the Land Acquisition Act is less than four times as per the rates of ready reckoner prevailing at the time of publication of preliminary notification and powers of officers thereupon in view of Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act.
In view of the said G.R., all these Appeals are disposed of.
Pending applications, if any, shall also stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
