According to learned counsel for the petitioner, his caste validity claim is pending before respondent no. 2 since 21.4.2012 and as such he is not in a position to produce the caste validity certificate. However, in the absence of it, the third respondent is likely to terminate the services of the petitioner. 3.
Having considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, we dispose of this petition by directing the nilegaonkar
906-wp-1939.2018.odt Caste Scrutiny Committee to decide the petitioner's caste validity claim as expeditiously as possible but in any case not later than 31.12.2018.

Petitioner to appear before the Cate Scrutiny Committee on 26.4.2018 at 11.00 a.m.

Till the petitioner's caste validity claim is decided, the third respondent shall not take any coercive steps for terminating the petitioner's services on the ground of non-submission of the caste validity certificate.

With the aforesaid directions, petition is disposed of. 7.
