Nine Petitioners who are named in the FIR by the Respondent - Complainant have filed these Petitions. The Respondent - Complainant has lodged the FIR stating that on 26 March 2020 the Petitioners assaulted the Complainant and others using sticks and bricks. The injury certificate is placed on record.

19. WP 1541-1542.22.doc The injuries are stated to be grievous injuries. Considering the material on record, no case is made out to quash the FIR exercising the inherent and extraordinary powers of this Court. 3.

It is open to the Petitioners to avail of the ordinary remedy of seeking discharge, if charge is not already framed. 4.

Keeping contentions of the Petitioners open in case the Petitioners apply for discharge, the Writ Petitions are disposed of. N.R. BORKAR, J.
