Heard learned counsel for the parties.

According to the Petitioner, the properties specified in the petition have been acquired by the Railway Authorities and compensation is deposited with Respondent No. 1. The Petitioner has submitted his objections, however, there is no decision thereafter. The Petitioner apprehends that if the dispute is not referred, the amount would be disbursed immediately, leaving the Petitioner remediless.

To avoid any complications, keeping all contentions of the parties on merits open, we dispose of the writ petition directing the

Husen 2 24 WP-2286-2024.doc Respondent No. 1 that if any final decision is taken to disburse the amount to wait for a period of 4 weeks before actual disbursement to enable the parties to pursue the remedy available in law. 4.

Writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
