1] The applicant is granted interim relief by an Order dated 13th February 2017. 2] Perused the documents annexed to the application and record of investigation. 3] It is the case of the first informant that, the father of the applicant had been to her house in the afternoon and demanded arrears of rent. There were some altercations took place and at that time the father of the applicant slapped her. It appears that there is no overact attributed to the applicant as contemplated under Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code.

4] After taking into consideration the nature of allegations, the applicant deserves to be granted pre-arrest bail.

In view thereof, the interim relief granted by an Order dated 13th February 2017 is hereby confirmed.
