The order dated 19-12-2016 passed by the Learned Arbitrator under Section 84 of the Multistate Co-operative Societies Act, 2002, is taken exception to by way of the above Petition.

Having regard to the scheme of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996, which is applicable to the proceedings in question, the interference of this Court in its Writ Jurisdiction in the arbitral proceedings is not warranted. The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed. However, it would be open for the Petitioner to agitate the grievance raised in the above Petition, whilst challenging the final award that would be passed by the Arbitrator, if the occasion so arises.
