1] By judgment and order dated 24th November 2017, the learned Sessions Judge has convicted the applicant / appellant under section 302, 387, 341 r/w. 34 of Indian Penal Code in Sessions Case No. 36 of 2014. The applicant was original accused no. 3 in the said case. Being aggrieved thereby, the applicant has preferred criminal appeal no. 142 of 2018.

2] In the present application, it is prayed that an Advocate from Legal Aid be appointed to represent the applicant in the said appeal.

25-APPA-215-18 3] In view of the prayer made, we appoint Ms Rohini Dandekar, who is on Panel of Advocates of the High Court Legal Services Committee, to represent the applicant / appellant in criminal appeal no. 142 of 2018 as also in application for condonation of delay.

4] The application is allowed in above terms.
