On 27/02/2020, the applicant was admitted to protection from arrest in a C.R. which invoke sections 406, 420, read with 34 of IPC. He was directed to report to the Investigating Officer. A period of more than 2 years have expired since the date of the order, by that time investigation must have been completed. The learned APP state that in the absence of Investigating Officer, she is not able to make any statement. Considering the long period that has intervened from the date of passing of the order. I deem it appropriate to confirm the said order subject to the stipulation that the applicant shall report to the investigating officer on 3/10/2022 and 4/10/2022, and he shall attend the trial on regular basis.
