Heard learned counsel for the parties.

By this application, the applicant seeks the following prayer:- "a) This Hon'ble Court may be pleased to extend the period of provisional cash bail for 12 weeks so as to enable the Applicant/accused to furnish surety in the said case on such terms and conditions as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper to grant in the circumstances of the case" 3.

It appears that the applicant's sentence was suspended and he was enlarged on bail vide order dated 9th October 2020, on furnishing PR bond Nikita Gadgil 1/2

18.IA 569-21.doc in sum of Rs. 25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount. Vide clause (iii) of the said order, the applicant was permitted to furnish cash bail security in sum of Rs. 25,000/- for a period of twelve weeks in lieu of surety.

It appears from the application, that the applicant had gone with the surety before the trial court, however, the applicant was informed that the period granted for furnishing surety had expired. Considering the same, time to furnish bail is extended by eight weeks from today. 5.

Accordingly, provisional cash bail granted by this Court vide order dated 9th October 2020 is extended by a period of eight weeks from today. Within the said period the applicant to ensure that the order dated 9th October 2020 is complied with.

Accordingly, the application is disposed of.
