This is an application for fixing the date of hearing in Criminal Writ Petition No.445 of 2015. Writ Petition No.445 of 2015 was admitted by this Court vide order dated 30th November 2015 and interim order was passed granting stay to the proceedings before the Trial Court. It is submitted that the applicants are police personnel and there is urgency in deciding the issue which is pending before this Court. It is further submitted that some of the applicants are retired from service and due to the pendency of proceedings, their retiral benefits have been withheld. It is further submitted that while admitting the writ petition, rule was made returnable in two weeks. 2.

Learned APP submitted that the petition has been admitted recently by order dated 30th November 2016 and there is no urgency

2 of 2 25.APPW.80.2017 in hearing the writ petition. Considering the submissions advanced by advocate for applicants, hearing of the petition can be expedited. 3.

Hence, I pass following order :

(i) Criminal Application No.80 of 2017 is allowed. Registry is directed to add Writ Petition Nos.445 of 2015 and 446 of 2016 to the final hearing board from the week commencing from 3rd October 2017;

(ii) Criminal application is disposed of.
