Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the petition with liberty to file Second Revision Application under section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is an ad interim relief granted in the present petition on 22nd February 2017. He submits that the said protection to be extended for the limited period to enable the petitioner to make an appropriate application before the Revisional Authority. Leave granted with liberty as prayed. 2.

Writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to adopt appropriate alternate remedy as permissible in law. To enable Page no. 1 of 2

35-wp-2674-2017.doc the petitioner to make an appropriate application before the Revisional Authority, ad interim protection granted on 22nd February 2017 by this Court is extended for a period of six weeks, subject to the petitioner filing appropriate proceedings within a period of four weeks from today.

It is clarified that the petitioner will be entitled to seek benefit of the period of pendency of this petition to seek condonation of delay.

If appropriate proceedings are not initiated within the aforesaid period, interim protection granted by this Court will automatically stand vacated.
