Heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the State.

The learned counsel for the applicant seeks leave to withdraw the application. The learned counsel submits that the applicant is in custody since last two years and therefore the trial be expedited. 3.

Having regard to the nature of accusations, age of the victim and the period of incarceration of the applicant, it may be expedient to expedite the trial.

The learned Special Judge, seized with Special Case No. 135 of 2022 arising out of C.R. No. 27 of 2022 is requested to commence and conclude the trial in Special Case No. 135 of 2022 as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of nine months from the date of communication of this order. 5.
