2] The appellant challenges order passed by the learned Single Judge dated 13th September 2012.

3] Learned counsel for the appellant submits that the information sought by the borrower was not necessary and therefore was rightly rejected. Learned counsel submits that the Commissioner and the

SKC 2/2 14-LPA-128-13.sxw learned Single Judge committed error in adopting a view which is in conflict with the interest of the bank.

4] We have perused the order passed by the learned Single Judge. We have perused the Section 8(1)(d) of the Right to Information Act, 2005. The learned Single Judge rightly observed that the order passed by Information Officer dated 12 September 2011 in its entirety would reveal that the Commissioner has not directed anything which would cause a breach of violation of the secrecy or confidentiality of agreement or clause of such nature in any agreement with the borrower. In our view, the approach of the learned Single Judge was reasonable, sound and in tune with the purport of the subject legislation. No interference is warranted. LPA is dismissed.

5] In view of dismissal of the LPA, civil application does not survive and is disposed of accordingly.
