The order dated 16.12.2016 passed by the Divisional Joint Registrar Co-operative Societies, Nashik Division, Nashik, is taken exception to by way of the above Petition. By the said order, the application for stay filed by the Petitioner has been rejected. The application for stay has been rejected on the ground that the Petitioner has not filed the enquiry report which was submitted under Section 88 of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 (For short "the said Act"). The Petitioner was one of the directors of the Respondent No.2 credit society and has been indicted in the report under Section 88 of the said Act and a huge liability is fixed on the Petitioner. Hence, it is not possible to interfere with the impugned order. The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed.
