In pursuance of Order dated 18.01.2023, Smt. Anita M. Varade, Assistant Police Inspector, attached to Kalwa Police Station, Thane City, Dist Thane has filed detailed Affidavit dated 08.02.2023. The explanation given in the said affidavit is as per the record maintained by concerned Police Station and the various proceedings initiated by Petitioner either for quashment of First Information Report, wherein he is an accused or other related legal proceedings. The said explanation is accepted. 2.

Present Petition is filed by the accused for transfer of investigation, which is not maintainable in law. Reliance is placed on the following decisions :
