The State Government has filed proceedings under section 378 of IPC seeking leave to appeal and as there is delay of 17 days in preferring it, prayer is to condone the same. The reasons given are supported by affirmation. Learned counsel for the petitioner is opposing the prayer. However, as we find the reasons justified, we condone delay.
