The grievance of the petitioners is that the Hon'ble Revenue Minister is seized with unnumbered and undated Review proceedings filed under Section 88 (1)(B) of the Bombay Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1948 and unnumbered and undated Review proceedings filed under Section 47(2)(C) of the Maharashtra Agricultural Lands (Ceiling on Holdings) Act, 1961. 2.

The petitioners, in the context of the present proceedings, had approached this Court earlier in Writ Petition No.8016 of 2021 on which a coordinate Bench of this Court passed an order dated 22 April, 2022 (Exhibit-H, page 302) whereby the petition was disposed of permitting the petitioners to raise all the grounds in the review proceedings. 21 March, 2024

The grievance of the petitioners in the present proceedings is that the Review proceedings are not being decided by the Review authority as filed by the respondents. As this is the only prayer, we direct the Review authority/ Hon'ble Minister, who is seized with the present proceedings, to dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible and within a period of four months from today.

All contentions of the parties on the review proceedings are expressly kept open.

Disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
