Mr. Patil, learned counsel for the petitioner, at the outset, seeks leave to amend the petition, so as to annex the copy of representation dated 21st August, 2018 made by Maharashtra State Grampanchayat Employees Union and to carry out consequential amendments as well. Leave as prayed for, is granted. Necessary amendment be carried out forthwith.

Having heard Mr. Patil, learned counsel for the petitioner, we deem it convenient to dispose of this petition by directing respondent No.3-Chief Shubhada S Kadam 1/2
514.2 wp 2321.19.doc Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Thane, to decide the representation dated 21st August, 2018 made by Maharashtra State Grampanchayat Employees Union, a copy of which is annexed at "Exhibit - I", page 61 to the petition, as expeditiously as possible and, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of this order. Ordered accordingly.

It is made clear that we have not gone into the merits of the matters and, all rights and contentions of the respective parties are kept expressly open to be agitated before the concerned authority. Respondent No.3Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Thane, shall decide the said representation by passing speaking order and, thereafter, shall communicate the same to the petitioner.

The petitioner shall remain present before respondent No.3-Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Thane, on 9th September, 2019 at 11.00 a.m. along with the aforesaid representation as well as copy of this order in order to enable him to pass an appropriate order. 6.
The writ petition stands disposed of.
