The Petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal (for short "Tribunal") on 4th January 2024, refusing to condone the delay of 6 years and 4 months in filing the Original Application. We have perused the Application for condonation of delay. We find that the Tribunal was right in holding that no satisfactory reason was assigned to explain the delay of 6 years and 4 months.

In the light of the fact that the results of the entrance examination were declared on 10th June 2016 and the Petitioner was

Tauseef 02-WP.2654.2024.doc aggrieved by exclusion of his name therein, the Original Application as filed on 31st August 2023 without explaining the delay has been rightly not considered.

We, therefore, do not find any reason to exercise writ jurisdiction. Writ Petition is dismissed.
