The grievance of the Petitioner is that though he has filed an application to the DILR for carrying out survey of the boundaries and of the land held by him, no action has been taken so far. On the other hand Mr. Atul Damle, learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of Respondent No. 4 submits that no particulars of the 1 / 2

WP. 8579-15 application have been mentioned by the Petitioner in this petition. 2.

In our view, if the application is already made, then the DILR shall take steps in accordance with law and decide the same within four weeks. If such an application is not on record, Petitioner may file a fresh application within 2 weeks, and the same shall be disposed of by the DILR on merits and in accordance with law within four weeks thereafter. All contentions raised by both parties in this petition are kept open. Writ petition is accordingly disposed of in the aforesaid terms.

In view of disposal of the petition, Civil Application No. 184 of 2016 filed therein does not survive, and is accordingly disposed of.
