We are terminating proceedings in PIL No. 45 of 2015 because it lays a challenge to a Government Resolution dated 03/02/2015 withdrawing River Regulation Policy published on 13/07/2009 clarified subsequently on 24/04/2012. The grievance was river beds and flood planes being unregulated in the absence of River

In PIL No. 14 of 2014, said decision has been challenged and we find broader issues concerning environment being raised in the said Writ Petition and thus, the subject matter of the instant petition would be dealt in PIL No. 14 of 2014. Counsel for the petitioner in the instant petition is permitted to intervene and assist the petitioner of PIL No. 14 of 2014.
