Heard. By this petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India the Petitioner challenges the order dated 13.07.2011 passed by respondent No.1 u/s.101 of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960 by which the petitioner has to pay sum of Rs.59,36,981/- with interest thereon. 2.

As an alternate efficacious remedy is available to the petitioner to file a revision under Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960, the petition is not maintainable.

Hence, following order is passed:

a.

Writ Petition stands rejected.

The respondents are restrained from taking any coercive action against the petitioner for eight weeks from today.
