DATE : 27th SEPTEMBER 2017 P.C.:

The grievance made in this petition is in respect of acquisition proceedings. It is not necessary to take the matter further in view of the unequivocal stand taken in the reply filed by the Deputy Collector (Land Acquisition No.22), District Pune on 7th August 2017 wherein it is categorically stated that no steps were taken pursuant to Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act and the acquisition proceedings have not been completed and they have lapsed. We accept the statement made by the Deputy Collector on oath.

The learned counsel for the petitioner states that necessary directions be issued to the Authorities to correct the revenue record.
