A common statement is made by learned counsel appearing for the respective parties that the present petition ought to have been filed as civil writ petition. We have also perused the prayers of the petition and we find substance in the statement of the learned counsel. The petitioner is granted leave to convert the above criminal writ petition into civil writ petition. Necessary amendment be carried out within a period of one week from today. The Registry, thereafter, shall place the petition before an appropriate Bench.
