We have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. The only prayer has made in the petition reads thus:

"a) The Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue appropriate writ, order, direction against the Respondents to expeditiously take decision upon the application dated 28th July, 2022 and 27th January, 2023 submitted by the Petitioner for rectification of names erroneously reflecting in the property tax bills pertaining to units owned by the Petitioner and preferably within a period of one week from the date of passing an order."

We are of the opinion that the petition need not be kept pending for the respondents to appear in the present proceedings, as in our opinion, no prejudice would be caused to the respondents if we pass an order to direct the Municipal Corporation to decide the pending application of the petitioner dated 28th July, 2022 and 27th January 2023 1/2 by SUMEDH NAMDEO SONAWANE Date:

in regard to rectification of names, which according to the petitioner, are erroneously reflected in the property tax bills. 4.

We accordingly direct the respondent - Corporation to decide the applications of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible within a period of six weeks' from the date of copy of the order is received by the Municipal Corporation from the petitioner.

All contentions of the parties are expressly kept open. 6.

Disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
