Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned APP for the State.

This is an application for relaxation of the condition imposed in clause (viii) vide order dated 12/03/2021 in Bail Application No. 2568 of 2019 that the applicant shall deposit his passport with the Investigating Officer.

Learned counsel for the applicant states that the applicant's passport has expired and needs to be renewed. For that limited purpose, the passport may be handed over so that he can apply to the competent authority for renewal 1/2

The applicant in paragraph no. 3 (e) of the interim application, undertakes to hand over the renewed passport to the investigating agency and abide by the condition imposed upon him by this Court. The statement is accepted. 5.

In this view of the matter, the application deserves to be allowed. The passport shall be handed over to the applicant only for the purpose of renewal and the renewed passport shall be handed over to the investigating agency, as per the undertaking.

The application stands disposed of.
