1] By judgment and order dated 1st March 2017, the learned Sessions Judge has convicted the applicant / appellant under section 302, 201 and 404 r/w. 34 of Indian Penal Code in Sessions Case No. 612 of 2014. The applicant was original accused no. 2 in the said case. Being aggrieved thereby, the applicant has preferred criminal appeal (stamp) no. 153 of 2018 as well as application for condonation of delay.

2] In the present application, it is prayed that an Advocate from Legal Aid be appointed to represent the

26-APPA-232-18 applicant in the said appeal as well as application for condonation of delay.

3] In view of the prayer made, we appoint Mr. Prosper D'souza, who is on Panel of Advocates of the High Court Legal Services Committee, to represent the applicant in criminal appeal (stamp) no. 153 of 2018 as also in the application for condonation of delay.

4] The application is allowed in above terms.
