PC :- 1) Heard the learned Counsel for the applicant.
2) Perused the report submitted by the Investigating Officer. For the period 3rd February, 2024 to 11th February, 2024, the State had raised a bill for escort charges to the tune of Rs.3,34,588/- out of which a sum of Rs.1,71,907/- seems to have been paid by the applicant. The balance amount of Rs.1,62,681/- is yet to be paid.

928-IA-581-24.DOC 3) The grievance of Mr. Mishra, the learned Counsel for the applicant, is that the number of police personnel deployed for security is far more than the requirement.
4) Suffice to note, that is a matter to be assessed by the concerned Officer on the basis of threat perception. However, in view of the grievance, the concerned Officer may reassess the requirement of deployment. The Court would not be justified in giving any directions.
5) The application stands disposed.
