The applicant is seeking quashing of C.R.No. 157/2017 of Kurla Police Station. The said case is under Sections 420, 506 of IPC.

Heard learned Counsel for the applicant - original accused, learned Counsel for respondent No.2 - original complainant and learned APP for State.

The applicant as well as complainant are present 1/2
905. apl 199.18.doc before the Court. The complainant stated that FIR was lodged on account of misunderstanding, misconception about the facts. The complainant has further stated that the dispute has been amicably settled between the parties and FIR against the applicant be quashed. He has also tendered affidavit to the above effect along with copy of Aadhar card which are taken on record and marked 'X' collectively for identification. 4.
Looking to the fact that matter has been amicably settled between the parties and looking to the fact that the complainant does not wish to pursue his case against the applicant, we are of the opinion that no purpose would be achieved by continuing with the prosecution in the said case. 5.
In this view of the matter, C.R. No. 157/2017 of Kurla Police Station and proceedings relating thereto are quashed.

Application is allowed in the above terms.
