Heard the matter at some length.

We find that the grievance against the police officer here can be looked into more conveniently by the Police Redressal Authority. Learned APP has upon instructions stated that the authority functioning at Pune has got jurisdiction over the area in question. Hence, with the liberty to the petitioner to approach that Authority and with a direction to the said Authority to expeditiously consider the grievance of the petitioner, preferably within a period of three months, we dispose of the present petition.
