Heard Mr. Raktade, learned Counsel for the Applicant and Mr. Chaudhari, learned APP for the Respondent-State. 2.

Mr. Raktade, learned Counsel for the Applicant, after arguing the Bail Application for some time and as the Court is not inclined to grant bail, seeks leave to withdraw the Bail Application with liberty to file a fresh Bail Application after a period of one year in case the trial does not commence.

Accordingly, the Bail Application is allowed to be withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid.

However, Mr. Raktade, learned Counsel states that the Applicant's sister is getting married on 1st May 2024 and therefore he states that

508-BA-625-2024.doc the Applicant be allowed to attend her wedding. On instructions, he states that the Applicant is ready to pay the Police Escort charges. 5.

Accordingly, the Jail Authorities to facilitate the necessary arrangements so that the Applicant can attend his sister's wedding with Police Escort. The Applicant be taken with Police Escort from Kolhapur Central Prison to the place of wedding at 09.00 a.m. on 1st May 2024 and he shall be brought back to the Jail on 1st May 2024 before 04.30 p.m..

This direction is subject to the Applicant paying necessary Escort charges as per rules on or before 30th April 2024. [MADHAV J. JAMDAR, J.]
