There is a specific role ascribed to the present applicant in the crime and which is punishable under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. There are prima facie circumstances brought on record, which establish the chain and till the end. The link has not been disrupted or broken is the finding of fact presently recorded against the applicant-appellant. Merely because his wife is enlarged on bail is not the ground to release this applicant on bail, particularly when there is a recovery at his instance.

The application for bail is dismissed.
