DATE : 24th FEBRUARY, 2021 P.C. :- By this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioners have prayed for a writ of mandamus or any other writ order or direction in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the respondent nos. 1 to 3 to postpone the date for preparation of the Final Voters List for the elections of the respondent no.4 and to extend the time for submitting the resolutions authorizing the representatives of the affiliated member societies to vote for the

It is not in dispute that the election programme has been already declared. A copy of the programme is annexed at page 22 of the writ petition. We are therefore not inclined to interfere with the process of election.

Writ petition is accordingly dismissed. No order as to costs. 4.

The remedy of the petitioners, if any, would be to file election petition. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views on the merits of the matter. All contentions of both the parties are kept open.
