Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

On 24.8.2016 matter was adjourned at the request of advocate for petitioner to take instruction whether the petitioner want to press the petition in view of subsequent development. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that they have not received any instruction from his client.

On the other hand, the learned A.G.P. for the respondent submits that in the present proceeding, respondent no.1 was elected as a Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat, Kharare-Pendur in Election of the year 2009-10. He submits that the Sarpanch period was for 5 years. During the pendency of the present petition, said period is already over. Hence, Mohite 1/2

Considering the submissions made by the learned A.G.P. for the respondent, following order is passed:

a) In view of subsequent development that respondent no.1's period as Sarpanch of 5 years is over, nothing survives in the Writ Petition.

b) Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
