The above Writ Petition has been filed for quashing of the FIR being C.R. No. 144 of 2017 registered with the Naya Nagar Police Station, Mira Road, Thane, on 30th May 2017 for the offences punishable under Sections 354D, 376, 323, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code. The learned A.P.P Dr. F. R. Shaikh, on the basis of the written instructions of Shri S.G. Nikam, Sub-Inspector of Police, Naya Nagar Police Station, Thane, informs us that the charge-sheet has been filed in the concerned Court on 7th August 2018.

wp.734.18.915.doc In view of the filing of the charge-sheet, it would be appropriate if the Petitioner files an application for discharge before the concerned Court. If any application for discharge is filed, needless to state that the same would be heard and decided on its own merits in accordance with law and expeditiously.

With the directions as aforesaid, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
