After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioners, submit that this petition be disposed of by directing the Competent Authority of the Union of India to consider the grievance raised by the petitioners in this petition and take appropriate decision on it in accordance with law. 2.
Learned counsel for the respondents including Union of India submits that this petition will be treated as petitioner's representation and appropriate decision will be taken in regard to the petitioner's grievance after giving due opportunity of hearing
hvn 13-WP-2355.2016 to the petitioners as also to respondent no. 2. 3.
In view of the aforesaid, as agreed by the learned counsel for the parties, this petition is disposed of by directing the competent authority of respondent no. 1 to decide the grievance raised by the petitioner in this petition by giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioners as also to respondent no. 2, as expeditiously as possible preferably within four weeks from the date of appearance of the parties before the competent authority of respondent no.1, which according to learned counsel for respondent no.1 is Joint Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs (Banking Division). Parties to appear before the said authority on 22.11.2017 at 11.30 am. 4.
It is clarified that the proceedings which have taken place till the date shall not be affected by the decision as may be taken by the said Authority. It is also made clear that the interim protection granted by this Court in this matter shall continue till the appropriate decision is taken by the said Authority. 5.
