The learned Counsel for the Applicant submits that this Application may be disposed of with a direction to the trial court that Regular Criminal Case No. 3663 of 2013 be heard expeditiously. It is further submitted that the stage is for recording of plea and the case has not progressed over a period of two years. 3.

Learned Counsel for Respondent No.1 does not oppose expediting of the matter.

Considering the above, this Application is disposed of.

It is expected that the trial court would decide Regular Criminal Case No. 3663 of 2013 as expeditiously as possible and if the case is still pending at the stage of recording plea, the trial court would ensure that the plea is recorded within a period of 45 days from today.
