By this application, the applicants seek restoration of Criminal Writ Petition No.3087 of 2017, which came to be dismissed for want of prosecution, as none was present on behalf of the petitioners.

Learned Counsel for the applicants states that the application does not survive, having regard to the fact that during the pendency of the aforesaid application, the applicants have been acquitted from the offences levelled against them, of which quashing was sought in the aforesaid writ petition.
