1] Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and respondent. 2] This petition is filed by the wife for getting travelling expenses to attend the proceeding at Satara from Saswad. Learned counsel for the petitioner wife fairly concedes that the petitioner wife is getting interim maintenance at the rate of Rs.6,000/- per month as awarded in the proceeding filed under Domestic Violence Act. However, the petitioner wife has to attend the Court at Satara and therefore travelling expenses be granted to her. 1/2
3 WP 2410 OF 2015.odt 3] As regards travelling expenses learned counsel for the respondent has fairly conceded that as S.T. bus ticket from Saswad to Satara both ways can be paid at the rate of Rs.500/- and the respondent is ready to pay the said amount per trip to the petitioner wife on the dates on which she attends the proceeding in the Court at Satara.
4] Learned counsel for petitioner wife also submits that the petition is pending before the trial Court since 2013 and therefore directions for expeditious disposal be given. 5] In view of above, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the trial Court to decide the petition as expeditiously as possible provided both the learned counsel and the parties extend their utmost co-operation.
6] The petitioner is permitted to withdraw the amount of maintenance deposited in this Court in view of disposal of this writ petition.
