The case of the Petitioners is that their request for provisional membership of Respondent No.1 society, i.e. Jaiprakash Co-operative Housing Society Ltd. was rejected by the society, 2/3
against which, the Petitioners have moved Offce of the Deputy Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Pune City (4). Notice is stated to have been issued for hearing by the Deputy Registrar on 19 July 2022. However, it is stated that no further action has been taken by the said Authority and the issue remains unresolved. Considering the limited nature of the controversy, we dispose of the Petition with a direction to Respondent No.2 to take an appropriate decision on the proceedings pending on the issue within a period of three weeks.
