Heard the learned counsel for the parties. There is an innocuous prayer in the Petition inasmuch as the direction is sought to the Respondent No.2, who is the appellate authority i.e. the Divisional Commissioner (Revenue), Pune Division, Pune to decide the externment appeal No.19 of 2021 of the Petitioner.

The fact that the said appeal of the Petitioner is pending is not in dispute. We, therefore, direct the appellate authority i.e. the 2nd Respondent herein to decide the said appeal of the Petitioner as expeditiously as possible, however, within a period of two weeks from the receipt of this order on its own merits and after adhering to the principles of natural justice. After passing such order on the said appeal, the office of the 2nd Respondent shall communicate the said order to the Petitioner immediately. lgc
