The learned Counsel for the Petitioners submits that the land bearing Gut No.676/1/B owned by the Government within the vicinity of Grampanchayat Alsand is available. The Primary Health Center is sanctioned. However, there is no proper space for the same. Even the District Health Officer, Zilla Parishad, Sangli has recommended the same and forwarded to the Jt. Director, Health Services. Basavraj G. Patil 1/2

18 wp4222-22.odt Allotment of a particular land for a particular purpose has to be under the policy decision of the State. The object of the Petitioners appears to be benevolent and for the public cause. It is for the Authorities to consider the said Application of the Petitioners.

In the light of that, the Petitioners may approach the State / Competent Authority for allotment of land. Upon such Application being made by the Petitioners, the Authorities shall consider the same expeditiously on its own merits and take decision preferably within six months from the date the Application is made.
