CORAM : S.C. GUPTE, J.
DATED : 12 JANUARY 2017 P.C. :
.
This appeal was called out in the morning session. Since none appeared for the parties, it was kept back. When it is called out in the afternoon session, Respondent No.3 appears through Counsel. The Appellant is absent. This Court has been notifying a weekly board of hearing matters, making it clear by a notice put up on the board that no adjournment would be granted in final hearing matters appearing on the weekly board on any ground. The rationale of this notice is that these matters are very old and have been pending for a very long time, some even from 1992. This Second Appeal has been pending since 1992. I am
sg 2/2 sa44-92.doc not inclined to adjourn the matter any further. The appeal is, accordingly, dismissed for want of prosecution. 2.
In view of the disposal of the appeal, the Civil Application does not survive and the same is also disposed of. Interim relief, if any, granted in the Civil Application shall stand vacated forthwith. ( S.C. GUPTE, J. )
